Budgetary concerns often mitigate the implementation of sustainable design strategies. To counteract this trend, Zared works in consultation with LEED accredited professionals to ensure programming and construction practices meet the highest sustainability criteria possible. Our design for Neighborhood Housing Services’ proposed Home Improvement center includes an organic roof, photovoltaics, water-reclamation and conservation, heat and power conservation, and inventive material re-use.
